Alleged Woman Beater, Mbogeni Ngema Was CANCELLED From TUT’s Non-Sexist Event
Controversial director, Mbogeni Ngema was invited by Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) to virtually educate students about Arts and Social Justice.
After the release of his ex wife Xoliswa Nduneni-Ngema’s book ‘Heart of a Strong Woman’ things have been going south for the Composer and lyricist.
In her book, Xoliswa Nduneni-Ngema tells it all as she explains that Mbogeni cheated on her with a lady he worked on set with.

After finding out about her then husband’s misconduct, Xoliswa beat up the lady and instead of supporting his wife, Ngema supposedly beat her up.
The story in the book has linked him with misconduct on set and GBV allegations which was why TUT cancelled their event with him.
The event was supposed to help eradicate the very allegations Mbogeni is accused of, it is understandable that TUT had to cancel.
The director however doesn’t seem fazed by all this as he tells Sowetan; “The university told me that they are cancelling the event because of the article published last week. I’m not concerned by the cancellation; I am actually used to these things by now where newspapers write things about me”
