Asavela Mqokiyana Welcomes Her First Child

Congratulations are in order for Asavela Mqokiyana. The actress and model welcomed her baby girl in August.

Via Instagram, she shared a snippet of her daughter’s face. She captioned the baby’s picture  “18/08 Ma’kheswa.” Insinuating that her daughter was born just a month ago.

In a separate post, she wrote,

“A couple of seconds later with her dad watching as they attended to her. My gyne closing me up played A Thousand Years by Christina Perri, I bawled yho, a beautiful moment with my husband being here welcoming our daughter to the world,” .

Sometime in April, Asavela shared that she was off the dating market. That was followed up by a post to say she had a bun in the oven in August.

“To my husband, every step of this pregnancy has been easier because of how helpful and caring you are. I love you,” she wrote.

In August, Mqokiyana revealed the gender of the child, and that she was pregnant with a baby girl.

Her husband and marital life is out of the public’s eye, however, Asavela shared images of her traditional wedding.
