Brinnette Seopela Loses Her Ex-Husband

Reality TV personality and entrepreneur Brinnette Seopela‘s estranged spouse, Samkelo Mvelase (44), has sadly passed away.

Despite their separation, Brinnette, known for her role in Real Housewives of Johannesburg, expressed deep care for Mvelase, and his demise has left her profoundly saddened.

Kelo, as affectionately called by friends, passed away on Monday night after a two-week hospital stay due to seizures. Despite hopes for his recovery, fate had different plans, as shared by a source close to the situation.

Brinnette and Kelo tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in July last year, but their paths diverged in April following issues with Mvelase’s late-night partying and the revelation that he wasn’t the businessman he claimed to be.

Sources revealed Brinnette’s decision to take a break, citing her husband’s lifestyle and lack of employment. Despite their differences, recent events have left Brinnette heartbroken, emphasizing the special bond they once shared.

This isn’t Brinnette’s first experience with marital challenges. Her previous marriage to Themba Gezani ended five months after a lavish wedding, marked by allegations of abuse and clashes over Brinnette’s extravagant lifestyle.

Fans of the reality star have flooded her with condolences and support during this difficult time. In response to queries, Brinnette, currently with Kelo’s family, directed the conversation to his elder brother Sibonelo.

He confirmed the passing, describing Kelo as a family-oriented, fun-loving individual and a cherished friend and brother.
