#EndSARS: DJ Maphorisa, Gemini Major, Da L.E.S And Others Joins Nigeria Police Brutality Protest

SA celebs such as, DJ Maphorisa, Gemini Major and Da L.E.S have taken to social media to join Nigerians in the protest against the government to put an end to SARS.

The campaign started as a social media campaign using the hashtag #ENDSARS to demand for Nigeria’s government to scrap and end the deployment of Nigeria Police Force Special Anti-Robbery Squad, popularly known as SARS.

The End Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) protest is a social campaign in Nigeria opposing the Special Anti-Robbery Squad for their oppression, brutality and harassment on Nigerian citizen.

Stories and video evidences of how members of SARS engaged in kidnapping, murder, theft, rape, torture, unlawful arrests, high-handedness, humiliation, unlawful detention, extrajudicial killings, and extortion, have been shared across the globe through social media apps.

The South African stars have taken to social media to show Nigerians their support. Even the American star, Cardi B requested for a detailed explanation abou the protest, in other to support Nigerians.
