DJ Zinhle Bags Her First-Ever NAMA Award

Mzansi DJ and businesswoman DJ Zinhle have just homed her first award by NAMA for Umililo to her long list of success moves in 2020.

The Boulevard Rose boss, who has never gotten an award for since she started her Disc jockeying career in 2004, bagged her first award for her hit single Umililo for the category of Pan African Artist Of The Year. It does seem like the first of many.

The Namibia Annual Music Award is a musical award ceremony that recognizes all genres of musical supremacy in Africa, covering all facets of music ranging from contemporary to traditional respecting music and video production and engineering.

They started the awards on the 15 of August 2020, and it is set to end on the 14th of November 2020. It is held virtually, and DJ Zinhle’s victory was announced via Twitter yesterday, Sunday, 18th October 2020.

The mother of one tweeted her excitement, tagging the artists she featured in Umililo, and expressing gratitude on behalf of them.

She Said β€œ Thank you for honouring us Namibia.@mvzzle_sa and @rethabile_rsa are so happy.

This has really been a very DJ Zinhle year as she has been steadily making win-win moves and nothing is dimming her shine.
