The artist explained in a statement that his team faced visa challenges, preventing them from joining him in China.

In the statement, Dlala Thukzin expressed his regret, stating, “I successfully received my visa yesterday; however, my manager and road manager had theirs declined by the embassy.” He went on to express sincere apologies to his fans in Shanghai and conveyed his excitement about the planned performance.

Despite the setback, Dlala Thukzin emphasized the importance of safety, stating, “Unfortunately, safety is a huge concern for me. I really couldn’t fight my conscience and fly so many hours to a country I’ve never been to all alone.” He assured fans that efforts would be made to work with event organizers to find an alternative date for the show.

Dlala Thukzin acknowledged the sacrifices made by his fans to attend the show and expressed gratitude. He concluded by promising to prioritize reapplying for visas and announcing a new date as soon as possible. “I know how much you guys have sacrificed to make it to the show and I really appreciate you.”
