English Actress, Diana Rigg From Game Of Thrones Dies At 82
Renowned English actress Diana Rigg who starred in hit movies like ‘The Avengers‘, ‘Game Of Thrones‘ and dies peacefully at 82.
Dame Enid Diana Elizabeth Rigg simply known as Diana Rigg has passed away on the 10th of September, 2020. She made her professional stage debut in 1957 in The Caucasian Chalk Circle. And her Broadway debut in the 1971 production of Abelard & Heloise.
She was born in South Yorkshire, in 1938 and died in her home in England. She was diagnosed of Cancer earlier in March 2020 and spent her last days reflecting on life. Her daughter revealed that she;
“…spent her last months joyfully reflecting on her extraordinary life, full of love, laughter, and deep pride in her profession. I will miss her beyond words.”

All through her career she was starred in over 60 films and TV shows. She played Emma Peel in The Avengers, and Lady Olenna Tyrell in smash hit Game of Thrones. She also played Countess Teresa di Vicenzo, and Tracey Bond, James Bond’s first wife in ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service‘.
Her death was confirmed by her friend, Lionel Larner, who revealed it saying;
“She died peacefully at home in England with her family who have asked for privacy at this difficult time”
“She was a beautiful kind and generous human being that enhanced the lives of all that knew her as well as a great actress. She leaves a great void in my heart”
