Recall that the female athlete has been banned from competing in athletic events due to claims that she’s a male.

In 2019, new IAAF rules came into force preventing women such as Semenya from participating in 400m, 800m, and 1500m events unless she takes medication to lower her testosterone levels.

Semenya refused and she was banned from competing in the events. She appealed to Switzerland’s Federal Supreme Court against the restriction of testosterone levels in female runners, however, she lost the appeal.
