Founder of Eyadini Lounge, Jabulani Zama is dead

Jabulani Mjey Zama, the owner of the popular Durban hangout Eyadini Lounge, has passed on.

Recently, Eyadini put out an official statement to inform the public that the lounge has been temporarily closed. They revealed that the CEO had suffered a stroke, nonetheless, they hoped that he’d make a quick recovery.

Shortly after, the management confirmed the death of the businessman. In line with the isiZulu tradition, family members welcomed in-person condolences. However, the family will communicate news of memorials and burials later on.

In 2009, Zama started building his lounge from scratch and completed it in 2011. Since then, the business has recorded a tremendous amount of success.
