Kamo WW Opens Up About Being a Queer Musical Artist.

Sometime in June, media personality Kamohelo “Kamo WW” Pule added ‘artist’ to his resume.

Before then, he was doing exceptionally well as a social media influencer, reality TV star, and dancer.

For two years, he learned how to write and perfected his craft in music. His second song Chommie with Chley dropped recently and it has been doing well.

“What inspired my venture into music is the love I have for entertaining people. It’s always been in me. I wanted to do it with my own music. The art of music is so beautiful that I’m able to tell a story in a different way,” he told TshisaLIVE. 

Kamo is a member of the LGBTQi+ community, so, his life is not one without controversies. He says by living his truth he hopes to inspire the young generation about the importance of self-assuredness.

“I want to be remembered as a fearless person who overstepped boundaries or society standards that try to cage us in boxes. He said,

I want to be remembered as the boy who inspired another gay boy to live their life fearlessly because it can get very scary. I want to be a person who paved the way for the next generation. To run harder than I did and be remembered for contributing in that space.”
