Keke Palmer Disses Darius Jackson in Music Video for Usher’s “Boyfriend”

In Usher’s new music video “Boyfriend”, Keke Palmer seemingly threw shades at her baby daddy.

The ruckus started when Darius criticized the outfit she wore at Usher’s concert on the 4th of July. “It’s the outfit tho..” the fitness instructor wrote in since-deleted tweets. “You a mom.”

This tweet garnered lots of reactions. A huge number of people supported the artiste, saying she had the right to wear whatever she wanted to.

 “We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is,” he replied to critics in a now-deleted tweet.

However, many believed Darius was right to have his opinion as her boyfriend.

Except for telling new moms to “do you”, the 29-year-old mom hasn’t said much on the topic.

Featuring in Usher’s new song “Boyfriend”, and starring in the video, the star dissed her boyfriend.

 At the end of the video, which sees Keke on a night out with some girlfriends and dancing along with Usher, she wakes up in bed to a phone call. 

“Hello? What time is it?” she says. “Dammit, I missed the show! S–t, I’m so tired.”

She then adds, with a pointed look at the camera, “I am a mother, after all.”

There have been speculations of their split but neither of them has said anything regarding the current state of their relationship. Nonetheless, netizens have shown their solidarity with the “Akeelah and the Bee” actress.
