Media personality, Khanyi Mkangisa, has addressed recent reports suggesting she was a victim of a robbery.
“The incident took place at about 10 pm when an unknown vehicle stopped in front of her, and the suspects approached her with guns, forcibly removing her from her vehicle. They also took some of her personal belongings, including a cellphone and laptop,” a source was quoted as saying.
Responding to claims circulating last week about a gunpoint hijacking incident involving the actress and DJ, Mkangisa clarified the situation.
Contrary to the reports, the police were searching for 15 suspects linked to her alleged hijacking, Khanya set the record straight. She took to Instagram to dismiss the rumors, sharing that the reports were false.
The Blood Psalm actress explained that despite being aware of the reports and receiving requests for a comment, she opted not to respond.
“I didn’t respond but he [journalist] went ahead and published it anyway. It’s false. I’m safe and still have my car.”
In March of this year, Mkangisa shared her excitement on Instagram by showcasing her new Range Rover, expressing gratitude with the caption:
“Big body whip for the birthday girl! Beyond blessed!”
This recent clarification from Khanyi Mkangisa dispels any misconceptions surrounding the reported hijacking incident.
