Lynn Forbes Redifines Midlife Crisis-“Life Starts at 40”
Recently, inspirational speaker Lynn Forbes, sat with her old friend Katie Mohamed in her new podcast Outspoken Owls.
The two women discussed their perspectives on what it means to be in a midlife crisis.
Being a 55-year-old herself, Forbes said her age isn’t a limitation for her. She said she has found more opportunities after 50 than she did when she was younger.
Lyn has always been about spreading light and being a positive influence on women and how the world sees them.
“They would say life starts at 40, but actually life stopped kind of at 50 and there was not much more to look forward to. Now we find ourselves in a very different position. Older, more mature people, have opportunities and have more to look forward to and do. So the crisis is really an opportunity,” she said.
The two women affirmed that there could be ‘midlife’ without crisis. That age bracket is them simply starting a new phase of their lives and there is no need for crisis.
