MNet Grants Somizi A Break Off From His Judging Duties On Idols S A Amidst Allegations Levelled Against Him

Media personality and Idols SA judge, Somizi is currently facing some challenges at the moment and he has been removed by MNet from his Idols SA duties for now till he resolved the accusations made against him.

Remember, his estranged husband, Mohale was trending on the gram after he  revealed how he was brutally assaulted by Somizi, how his car got destroyed, and the threats received from him.

It was also disclosed that he has stepped down as a Metro FM host following claims made against him by his estranged husband.

He will also not be a judge on Idols SA for the time being, pending the resolution of his personal concerns.

However, he will appear on screens till the 22nd of August, as the auditions were pre-recorded.

“MNet and Mr Somizi Mhlonog met to discuss his role on Idols in light of allegations made against him. We have reached a mutual agreement that Mr. Mhlongo will take some time off to deal with his personal circumstances until this matter has been resolved,” reads the official statement released.
