Ramaphosa To Address The Nation Due To Surge In COVID-19 Cases [Video]

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to address the nation this Thursday night after a surge in Covid-19 cases was reported.

Since the easing of the lockdown, citizens have been all out doing their business as most failed to keep to preventive measures and the latest number of cases announced is the highest in recent weeks, as it was revealed that over 4,000 cases were recorded in the past 24 hours.

The President had earlier urged citizens to be careful during the festive period, in other to avoid returning to another strict lockdown level but with the situation of things, the country might experience another harsh preventive measure as there’s been a surge.

SA is the 16th most-affected country globally.
