“Right Now We Cool”-Emtee Speaks on His Relationship with Nicole

31-year-old rapper Mthembeni Ndevu, better known as Emtee has cleared the air on what’s up with him and Nicole.

On L-Tido’s YouTube show the L-Tido Podcast, the hitmaker shared that things have been good with him and his estranged wife despite the separation. They both have a healthy relationship and co-parenting has been healthy.

“Right now we cool, we just had our first daughter … right now things are OK because I get to see my children, spend time with them, play with them, so I’m grateful for that. Only time will tell, concerning other things. but for now, we cool, there’s no bad blood,” he said

Furthermore, Emtee spoke about how fatherhood has changed him as an individual.

“Fatherhood has changed me in a lot of ways, how I treat other people … I don’t want anybody f*cking with my children, or somebody is going to die. I treat people with respect, and they witness that, I don’t refuse any pictures.

The star also added that he teaches his kids to respect others irrespective of the position they find themselves.

“I want my children to learn that no matter what position you’re in, in life always respect people. They know that about me. F*ck all that other sh*t. My children know me for who I really am.”

Sometime in May, the relationship between Emtee and Nicole hit rock bottom when Nicole accused her ex-lover of assault and financial infidelity.

Later on, she withdrew the case, stating she did it for their kids. Since then, the couple have gone their separate ways. In this case, Emtee has maintained that he is innocent of all charges and that he’d never lay hands on anyone.
