Sbahle Mpisane Arrested for Reckless Driving

Sbahle Mpisane, the daughter of businesswoman Shauwn ‘MaMkhize’ Mkhize and former Metro police officer Sbu Mpisane, recently faced legal trouble in Johannesburg.

The reality TV star was arrested for reckless and negligent driving during the festive season, as reported by Zimoja.

Sbahle, who was driving in Midrand, Johannesburg at the time, has since been released on bail. This information comes from Lieutenant-Colonel Mavela Masondo, spokesperson for the Gauteng South African Police Service (SAPS). Her court dates will be confirmed, and she is expected to reappear soon.

This incident follows a previous car crash in August 2018 in Durban, where Sbahle suffered a near-fatal accident, resulting in a permanent injury to her right leg.

In a 2022 interview with YouTuber Owamie Netshivhazwaulu, she disclosed that the crash occurred after a night out with friends, involving some alcohol. Sbahle mentioned encountering a poorly-behaving drunk driver on the road, prompting her to drive faster to avoid the situation. Unfortunately, her BMW 4 series hit the sidewalk, leading to a concussion and her passing out.

Her leg became stuck on the accelerator. This caused the car to collide with a traffic light and ultimately hit a tree. Sbahle has been wearing a moon boot since then, as her ankle bone was surgically removed.
