Controversial TV presenter Xolani Khumalo opens up about being scared for his life. This came after his Moja Love relieved him of his position as the host of Sizok’thola.
On the 3rd of November, the channel’s spokesperson shared a brief statement to notify the public of their decision.
“Moja Love TV has terminated its relationship with Mr Xolani Khumalo, presenter of one of the channel’s leading shows, Sizok’thola. The channel will not be commenting on any matters relating to Mr Khumalo at this stage and wishes him everything of the best in his future endeavours.”
This information caused a ruckus, especially since Xolani said he had no prior information concerning the termination.
Netizens think it is unfair to leave the TV presenter at this crucial time of his life. In September, Khumalo handed himself over to the police after a murder case was opened against him. Allegedly, he tortured and murdered drug dealer Robert Varrie in July this year during an interrogation. He appeared at the Palm Ridge Magistrates’ Court on 19 October 2023 and the court granted him R20 000 bail. He will be back in court on 21 November.
Furthermore, in a recent sit down with Dr Sbu on his podcast The Hustlers Corner, Xolani shared that he is in danger. Despite being private about his personal information, he said he has received life-ending threats.
Khumalo said he has to be careful of who he meets with and who he speaks with.
