Somizi Celebrates His Mom, Mary Twala’s 80th Birthday [Video]

Mary Twala died in July but her legacy lives on and nothing is stopped Somizi from celebrating his mom’s birthday.

Legendary actress, Mary Twala’s death left everyone in shock. She might be gone but definitely not forgotten as her achievements carry her name on.

The actress left behind six whole decades in the industry. With all those long years of effort and creativity put into the industry. Mary left with a bang as she was featured in Beyonce’s ‘Black is King’.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic her funeral was attended by only a few close friends and family. According to Somizi, she was laid to rest on her husbands birthday, being the 9th of July.

Although Somizi was very shattered following her death, he believes he didn’t just lose a mother but also gained a great and generous ancestor.

Despite the heartache and sad memories the celebrity chef didn’t forget to celebrate his mom’s birthday. He took to his social media to share a video of her while she was still alive as he marks her 80th.
