Somizi Reflects on His 9 Years with Idols SA

Socialite Somizi Mhlongo reflects on his 9-year journey as a judge on the TV show Idols SA.

Since the South African franchise of the Idols started, the celeb has been with them and last Sunday we saw the finale.

Somizi shared of video where he reminisced on his exciting journey, working on the show. He appreciated the toxic free 9 years he did.

“My Journey on South African Idols when I started 9 years ago… I can boldly stand on a mountain and say Idols is the only place I have worked for 9 years, and I can boldly say it was a non-toxic environment,” he said.

“That place was heaven. I had the best experience in a working environment in that place. From the crew, I have never seen a place where everyone is happy to be there. From the drivers to the security to the producers, to everybody guys, that environment was amazing,” Som added.

The all-round entertainer didn’t leave out channels that aired the show. From MNet to Mzansi Magic.

“The channels, Mzansi Magic and Mnet would go beyond to ensure you are fine. They look after your.”

He also revealed that Idols SA made him more famous and a superstar.

“For me personally, When i joined Idols, I was famous, but I became a superstar because of Idols. I wouldn’t be as influential as I am if not for South African Idols. and for that I will forever be grateful.”

“The band and singers are beautiful and super talented. Thanks to the audience. I know God has so many things in store. Unto the next one,” he concluded.
