“There’s Absolutely Nothing Wrong with Being a Lesbian” DJ Zinhle

DJ Zinhle has addressed comments suggesting she is a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, emphasizing that she is not bothered by such speculations.

The Umlilo hitmaker clarified her stance after a social media post labeled her a “lesbian in denial” wife due to a picture of her and her husband kissing.

In response, Zinhle expressed, “Nothing is offensive to me about being called a lesbian. It’s untrue but it’s definitely not offensive. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with being a lesbian.” Furthermore, DJ Zinhle is happily in love with her partner, DJ and producer Bongani “Mörda” Mohosana.

In the first episode of season 2 of DJ Zinhle: The Unexpected, Zinhle shared that she had accepted Mörda’s proposal for marriage. In early January, Mörda gifted Zinhle a diamond ring to celebrate her 40th birthday and their love for each other. Furthermore, the couple openly expresses their affection for one another on social media.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Mörda discussed how his priorities had shifted, emphasizing his role as a family man who is happily in love. He said,

“I’m in a space where I’m in love. I love my kids, and I have to accommodate that. Love changed my life. My wife changed the way I think. My outlook on life is family comes first. I want to tell my story through my music. I can say a lot without the lyrics.”
