Ice Spice started rapping in 2021 after meeting with a record producer, RiotUSA, while she was attending State University of New York at Purchase. He produced her debut song, “Bully Freestyle”, released in March 2021. In August 2022, she released her song “Munch (Feelin’ You)”. The song gained lots of popularity as it was endorsed by lots of celebrities and TikTokers.
Rubi Rose
25-year-old Rubi Rose came into the limelight as the main model for the hip-hop group Migos’ music video for the single “Bad and Boujee”. Rose started her music career in 2018. In 2019, she was signed by A&R Chris Turner to La Reids record label Hitco Entertainment. On December 25, 2020, Rose released her first official mixtape, For the Streets.

The duo caught the public’s attention from their appearance in the music video In My Feelings by Drake. Eventually, they signed a record deal with Quality Control Music and have already released two albums: Girl Code in 2018 and City on Lock-in in 2020. In 2020, the pair worked on their third studio album. Since then, both Yung Miami and JT have been a rave in the industry.

24-year-old Lattto is an Ohio-born rapper. She first appeared on TV when she contested and won The Rap Game in 2016. Latto’s mainstream breakthrough occurred with her 2019 single, Bitch From Da Souf & soon afterward signing with RCA Records.
In 2020, Latto was nominated for Best New Hip Hop Artist at the 2020 BET Hip Hop Awards. In February 2021, it was announced that Latto would be named MTV’s Global Push Artist of the Month.
Iggy Azalea
Australian rapper Iggy Azalea moved to the US when she was just 16 to pursue her musical career. Since she came into the limelight in 2014, she has been nominated for lots of awards and has won many.
Saweetie
Female rapper Saweetie comes on the list of new faces quickly escalating to the top of the index in recent years. She entered the world of professional music in 2018 with her debut single, Icy Girl. Saweetie’s singles Tap In, and Best Friend made it into the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100, and her debut album is scheduled to be released in 2022.
Talking about other recognitions, she was nominated in two categories, including the Best New Artist in the 2021 Grammy Awards but is yet to win any significant honors.
