The court charged him with three felonies, which include: Carrying a loaded and unregistered firearm, assault, and firing a gun. All these, are related to his 2020 altercation with Megan in 2020.

The plaintiff and Tory who had been romantically involved before the incident, were on their way back from Kylie’s party when an argument broke out and led Megan wanting to be let out of the car.

Judge David Herriford of Los Angeles County Superior Court told the rapper he’d be spending 10 years behind bars. The prosecutors had originally pushed for 13 years but the judge said the crime didn’t involve intense callousness.

The ‘WAP’ singer wasn’t present for the trials however, Attorney Kathy Ta read a victim impact statement on her behalf.

“He not only shot me, he made a mockery of my trauma. He tried to position himself as a victim and set out to destroy my character and my soul.

“At first, he tried to deny the shooting ever happened. Then, he attempted to place the blame on my former best friend.”

She went on to say that, the accused would blame everyone else but himself.

Legal journalist Meghann Cuniff, who was present for the hearing, tweeted: “Tory spoke for several minutes… He called her ‘someone I still care for dearly to this day’ regardless of what she may think of him. He said ‘The victim’s my friend.’ He talked about bonding with her over the loss of their mothers.

The ‘Hurts Me’ singer has up to 60 days to appeal his sentence.
