South African comedian, Trevor Noah has clinched his second Emmy award, marking a significant achievement at the 75th Annual Emmy Awards held at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, California on Monday night.

The acclaimed comedian secured victory in the Outstanding Talk Series category for his show, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. This adds to his previous Emmy win in 2017 for Best Short Form Variety Series. He earned the award for his YouTube comedy special, The Daily Show: Between the Scenes.

“Well, I think it’s a testament to the people who helped craft the show. You know, there’s no denying the genius of John Stuart that basically laid the foundation for every single Emmy winner in this category for, you know, decades, almost. It hasn’t been decades. I was like 20.”
