“True Art Is Rare”- Priddy Ugly Has Words For Clout Chasers
South African rapper Ricardo Moloi, professionally known as Priddy Ugly has a word for critics.
After a year break, the Luanda-born artist released his 6th album Dust on the 29th of September. As expected, this album has gotten a ton of reaction from people.
Just as some have developed admiration for Dust, many have criticized the album, saying Priddy Ugly could have done better.
Taking to X, the rapper shared a message to critics.

He went on to say that good music is dying and rare because people chase clouts out of artists’ hard work.
“I get being ahead of the pack, but social media has y’all rushing to prove points like it’s a race for engagement. The work you rush to critique took days, nights, weeks, months, and sometimes, years to make – that’s why true ART is rare & dying. I’m not here to argue with y’all about this, take it how you will…”
Priddy Ugly shared via social media platforms that Dust is going to be his last album.
“It’s been 15 years. That’s 3 albums and 3 mix tapes. That’s 5 EPs, 500 features, and thousands of verses, Millions of minds blown (that’s word to my pen).” he wrote
