Usher Gives Credit Amapiano and Afro Beats

American singer ‘Usher’ Raymond IV, acknowledges the Amapiano genre, claiming it has helped with his creativity.

In a recent interview, the hitmaker shared that one way or the other, he infuses rhythms from “motherland” into his music.

“…Coming to our original home, the Motherland. And all of those things started to sneak their way into my music. Whether it was the algorithms of the songs or the rhythm and beat of what was going on with Amapiano and Afro beats. All of those things began to instigate my creativity,” Usher said.

This news sweetened South Africans and they even inquired which songs in particular helped him.

Recently, it was confirmed that the Grammy award-winning playboy is officially headlining the #SBLVIII Apple Music Halftime Show.
