Zahara’s Sister Have Been Accused of Raiding Her Closet

Late Zahara’s sisters have been accused of ransacking her home and wardrobe after her passing.

In a surprising turn of events, it has been reported that just a month after the untimely death of renowned singer and songwriter Bulelwa ‘Zahara’ Mkutukana, her sisters, Bandezwa and Lumka, have allegedly moved into her Roodepoort home in Lille Falls and rummaged through her wardrobes and personal belongings.

According to sources, during Zahara’s battle for her life, accusations arose that her sisters had been using her bank account, indulging in shopping sprees at Small Street in Johannesburg. To protect against alleged misuse, Zahara’s bank card has reportedly been blocked. A close insider revealed, “They wanted the pin, which none of us have. After attempting a few times, the card got blocked.”

The source also claimed that Zahara had expressed concerns about her sisters’ actions even before her passing, citing jealousy and a desire to match her success. The insider shared, “Even when she was alive, Bulelwa would tell them they would never have her life.”

Additionally, it has been reported that the sisters have accessed Zahara’s wardrobe and started wearing her performance dresses, contrary to cultural traditions that call for a ceremony to distribute the deceased person’s clothes to family and friends.

The insider expressed dismay, stating, “This has not been done. But they have already started wearing her clothes and parading around. Trust me, she is mad wherever she is.”

When questioned about the allegations, Bandezwa, one of Zahara’s sisters, responded, “We were just trying them on. What is wrong with that? She is not here anymore.” The friend also mentioned the spreading of rumors about Zahara’s fiancé, Mpho, as another point of concern.
