Zakes Bantwini is petitioning that the president grant him the opportunity to lead the Arts and Culture Department because he believes the present minister is ineffective
The musician feels that artists can be assisted with actual support or money during this pandemic crisis. So he
calls on the president to offer an interesting proposal.
Sales took to his Twitter account and captioned his post said: “I want to be Minister of Art & Culture @PresidencyZA. This pandemic has been extremely challenging for our industry and it’s clear we have NO leadership that cares for creative economy of this nation. As creatives we deserve better and I want to change that for next generation.”
