17-year-Old Boy Charged For Murder In Connection With Itumeleng Khune’s Sister Death

The police have apprehended a 17-year-old boy under suspicions of murder. He was charged with the murder of popular footballer Itumeleng Khune‘s 27-year-old sister Mapula Khune on Friday.

Itumeleng Khune and his family have mourned a terrible loss after his younger sister lost her life during an alleged home invasion. She reportedly got burnt beyond recognition at her grandmother’s.

What started as an investigation turned to be a devastating case of murder and an additional charge of assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm was added. This according to Daily Sun who got confirmation from the Ventersdorp police.

According to Daily Sun, the teenage boy will be appearing before the Ventersdorp Children’s Court today.
