Anele Mdoda Counters The Weekend On Social Media Over GRAMMY Snub

SA TV personality, Anele Mdoda has taken to twitter to counter Canadian rapper, The Weekend over not getting a nomination at the GRAMMYS 2021.

Full list of nominees for the prestigious award was released this week, and as many musicians across the globe appreciated being nominated.

The singer however, took to social media to speak of how corrupt the GRAMMY is despite dropping songs which went global, he got no nomination.

He tweeted

“The Grammys remain corrupt. You owe me, my fans and the industry transparency.”

Taking to Twitter, Anele said he should stop acting like he is the first to be snubbed. “Art is tricky. Keep doing your art.”
