In her tweets, Kelly appeared upset that Ntokozo won the Female Artist of the Year category, the same category Kelly was nominated in but received no awards.

Kelly was nominated for Best Afropop Album and Female of the Year but didn’t win in either category. Ntokozo, on the other hand, won Female Artist of The Year, Album of the Year, and Best Contemporary Faith Album for her album “Lavish Worship.”

Kelly suggested that the awards might have been rigged and criticized both Ntokozo and the award organizers. In a Zulu tweet, she wrote, “Nontokozo knows numbers don’t lie. I am not scared of her! Fuseg Samas! Arranged winnings FUSEG!”

Despite Kelly’s comments, Ntokozo did not respond to the criticism but expressed gratitude for her awards on social media.

She thanked her team and mentioned feeling “exceedingly, abundantly blessed” by God’s faithfulness, favor, and love. Ntokozo’s post was in response to fans and fellow artists who congratulated her on the victories.
