Babes Wodumo Finds Love Again

Over a year after the loss of her husband to a stroke, Babes Wodumo has found love again.

The Gqom music queen is reportedly in a relationship with Amapiano artist Sabelo Zuma, known as Zuma in the industry.

The couple has been seen together at various events, showcasing a strong bond. Wodumo, born Bongekile Simelane, gained fame with her 2016 hit “Wololo” and was previously married to Mandla ‘Mampintsha‘ Maphumulo until his passing in December 2022.

Zuma, a rising Amapiano artist with a unique blend of Amapiano and traditional Zulu music, recently released his debut album, “Lazaro,” featuring collaborations with popular artists.

Rumors about their romance started last year when they were spotted together at a music festival. Since then, they’ve been seen at various events and parties, with Zuma reportedly supporting Babes in her career revival.

Despite facing criticism for their age difference – Babes Wodumo is 29, while Zuma is 25 – the couple seems unfazed. Allegedly, Babes took a year to mourn her husband and is now ready to move on.

The couple remains focused on their love, ignoring comments from their circle. They haven’t addressed the criticism and continue to share glimpses of their relationship with those close to them.
