The story features Gaby Espino and Carlos Ponce as the main characters, while Aarón Díaz and Ximena Duque play the villains.

Telemundo aired this series during the 2013-2014 season. Starting on August 6, 2013, the show was broadcast on Telemundo every weeknight at 10pm/9c, taking the time slot of ‘El Señor de los Cielos.’ To make it accessible to a wider audience, Telemundo provided English subtitles as closed captions on CC3, just as they do with most of their telenovelas.”

“Santa Diabla tells the story of Santa Martínez (played by Gaby Espino), a woman seeking revenge for her husband Willy Delgado’s (Lincoln Palomeque) murder. To exact her revenge, she marries Humberto Cano (Carlos Ponce), a powerful lawyer in Marrero. Humberto had hired Willy to give piano lessons to his niece, Daniela Milan (Ana Osorio), until accusations of harassment and attempted rape by Bárbara Cano (Wanda D’Isidoro), Daniela’s mother and Humberto’s sister, led to Willy’s tragic death. Blaming the Cano family for her husband’s unjust demise, Santa’s mission is to destroy them. However, as she pursues her plan, she falls in love with Santiago Cano (Aarón Díaz), Humberto and Bárbara’s brother.

Throughout the series, Inés Robledo (Ximena Duque), a wealthy and malicious woman, uses her influence to keep Santiago and Santa apart due to her obsession with Santiago.

In a surprising twist, it’s revealed that Santiago is the true evil brother, not Humberto, who was wrongly portrayed as the villain. Santiago is responsible for the murders in Marrero due to his dissociative identity disorder, allowing him to kill without restraint. Humberto knew about Santiago’s condition but kept it a secret to protect his brother. Another revelation shows that Santiago planned to make Santa his wife after discovering a picture of her while he and Willy were in prison. Everything Santiago did was calculated and cunning.

In the end, Santa chooses Humberto, despite the widespread belief that he is evil, because she knows he is good at heart. In a dramatic scene in the final episode, Humberto is killed by Santiago, and Santa never reveals that she is carrying his child. Santiago ends up in a mental asylum, and it remains unclear whether he escapes or not.”
