The full story of “Chrysalis” centers around Nalan, a 25-year-old woman who is the only child of the Ipekoglu family. Her upbringing has been devoid of affection as she remains under the strict control of her 70-year-old grandmother, Feride. Feride is known for her conservative beliefs and obsessions. Nalan’s mother passed away during childbirth, and Feride took on the responsibility of raising Nalan, which has fostered a simmering resentment between the two of them.

Nalan dutifully follows Feride’s rules and works as an interior architect at the Koroglu company. Destiny leads her to cross paths with Sedat Koroğlu, the heir of the prominent Koroglu family, who is entangled in a secret relationship with Cana. Their fates intertwine, marking the beginning of a new chapter.

Rafet Koroglu, Sedat’s father, is in search of a suitable bride, and Nalan emerges as the perfect candidate. However, as Sedat’s hidden romance with Cana continues, he hesitates. Cana manipulates him into agreeing to the marriage, claiming that it will divert attention away from their affair.
