COVID-19 Status In SA: 2364 New Cases 126 More Deaths Recorded

The spread of the Corona Virus in SA sits on the high side as in the past 24hrs, 2364 new cases have been recorded, which brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 690,896.

The Department of Health reported 126 more COVID-19 related deaths in the country, which takes the death toll to 17,673.

Eastern Cape took the highest percentage of deaths with a record of 39 fatalities, Free State with a history of 35, Gauteng with a record of 30, KwaZulu-Natal with 10, Western Cape with a record of 8, and Mpumalanga with a record of 4.

Apparently, in the past 24 hours, 2,364 new cases have been recorded, which brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 690,896.

The recovery rate remains steady at 90%, which translates to more than 51,000 active cases in the country.
