COVID-19 Status In SA: Death Toll Surpasses 18,000

The Department of Health has recorded 165 more COVID-19 fatalities, which takes the death toll to 18,028 in the country.

In the past 24 hours, the Department of Health has recorded 1,178 new infections, which takes the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 694,537.

The recovery rate stands steady at 90%, which translates that about 625,574 people have recovered so far.
