The cancel culture against the 38-year-old musician started after she was allegedly linked to one of the suspects in the murder trial of her ex-lover, Senzo Meyiwa.

Although the star hasn’t been charged with a crime yet, she has been canned out of two festivals. Both Tribute To Women and The Maseru Jazz Festival have said they believe “she’s innocent until proven guilty”. They however need to give her legal team space to deal with the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial.

In spite of the ruckus, Kelly announced through her social media pages that she’d be performing in two different events.

Netizens filled her timeline with hate comments, wishing her jail term. She seemingly has had enough of the hate and sees a need to reply to some haters.

“Oksalayo for sh*t! Ningakuthatha konke (You can take it all) I will still be Kelly Khumalo. Wena uzoba ubani? (who will you be?) A hater who rejoices on people’s challenges? Oksalayo nala ngizodlula! (This too will pass) Mark my words,” she wrote in one of the replies.
