Lasizwe Bags R150,000 as the Winner of The Perfect Picture

Social media influencer Lasizwe Dambuza is the winner of season 2 of the reality TV show The Perfect Picture.

Taking to Instagram, the Youtuber shared clips of when he was crowned the winner with his fans. By his side, were his co-stars and finalists Nomvelo Makhanya and Jonathan Boynton-Lee.

“What? I did it. Dilo di changitse. I just won this reality show. #ThePerfectPictureSA. My heart, my sweat and tears. This one is for you Mom. We did it. Oh my gosh,” he wrote.

The reality TV series started with 10 celebrities in a competition in July. They were to show their creative skills behind a camera to take perfect shots. Each week, a panel of judges examines the pictures and evict one person.

Other celebrities who participated include Gugu Khati, Luyanda Mzazi, Zahira Marthy, Ivan Roux, Anele Zondo, Tshego Koke and Christall Kay.

Since Lasizwe announced that he’d be participating, his fans have been rooting heavily for him. So, this is a win for his clan too.

At the beginning of the show, the 25-year-old spoke about how photography was a new territory for him.

“I’m usually in front of the camera, I’m not behind the camera. I’m a videographer and Youtuber and pictures are more technical for me. People will get to see a different side. They will get to see the really evolved Lasizwe. I think people are so exposed to the child star Lasizwe and now I’m growing in front of you guys.

“I’m making my mistakes and you are realizing it’s not what we are used to knowing when I was fun and gullible. I’m getting serious now, I’m making serious decisions and how I navigate around the space. It is a competition so there’s a little bit of strategy around it.”
