LOL: Last One Laughing South Africa’s Cast Revealed

Prime Video just unveiled the lineup of local comedians and celebrities set to join host Trevor Noah in its first South African Original unscripted series, LOL: Last One Laughing South Africa.

Scheduled for a global and South African release in early 2024, this six-part series promises a laughter-filled ride.

The upcoming season features a star-studded cast, including the comedic talents of Nomzamo Mbatha, Celeste Ntuli, Glen Biderman-Pam, Jason Goliath, Thando Thabethe, Lasizwe Dambuza, Tumi Morake, Moonchild Sanelly, Robby Collins, and Mojak.

These hilarious competitors will face off in a battle of wits, attempting to keep a straight face while simultaneously trying to make their opponents crack up and lose. The ultimate prize? A whopping R1 million will be awarded to the winning comedian for the South African charity of their choice.

LOL: Last One Laughing South Africa is a co-production by Rapid Blue, a part of BBC Studios’ international family of production companies, and Day Zero Productions.

This series is a brilliant adaptation of Prime Video’s widely successful comedy franchise, currently produced in over 20 countries and territories worldwide.
