Melinda Bam and Her Husband Mark 9 years of Marital Bliss

Miss SA 2011, Melinda Bam, and her husband marked their ninth anniversary. Even as the beauty queen was photographed in a hospital setting they had a heartfelt celebration.

The final blonde beauty queen was crowned Miss SA in 2011. Melinda Bam shared a touching caption alongside the pictures she posted on Instagram. The reason for Melinda’s hospitalization remains unclear.

Melinda shared that that was not the anniversary they had planned. However, they have to be grateful even when life is not rosy.

“Not the anniversary we had planned…It comes to show…the moments where you are most grateful for your spouse is not when life is perfect, glamorous, adventurous and simple…but when you need someone to get down on their knees and pray with you, hold your hand, trust the Lord for answers and breakthroughs, and when they strengthen the areas in you that are weak,” she wrote.

The beauty queen thanked her husband for sticking with her and also inspiring her to be stronger.

“9 years and you are still the godly husband I married in every sense of the word. This was not an easy week, but you thunder through difficult times with a faith that inspires me and keeps me strong,” she continued.
