“My Mum Tested Positive To COVID-19” – Zindzi Mandela’s Son Reveals

Late Zindzi Mandela tested positive to COVID-19 before passing away this week, according to family sources.

Although her cause of death is unknown at the time of filing this report, Zindzi Mandela’s son, Zondwa Mandela, confirmed that she tested positive for coronavirus during an interview on SABC’s Full View.

The interview held on Thursday, 16th of July and Zondwa’s statement is quoted below;

“There were other tests that were conducted and my mother did in fact test positive for Covid-19 on the day of her passing. Although this does not, therefore, mean that she died of Covid-related complications but simply that she tested positive for it,” said Zondwa.

Zindzi was South Africa’s Ambassador to Denmark and she died at the age of 59.
