With the rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s Everywhere, the South African choir marked their spot in the final episode.

The choir master is Sidumo Nyamezele. Not only is he the head of music at St John’s College in Johannesburg, but he has successfully tutored this exceptional group.

“Nyamezele has been guiding students at St John’s College for 20 years, and we have witnessed this same level of dedication and commitment throughout the years,” said executive headmaster Stuart West.

“His dedication to nurturing young talents has enriched the lives of our students, and we are delighted to witness his success on a world stage.”

The finale will take place on the 23rd of September.

The group won AGT’s heart by singing Nightbirde’s It’s OK during their audition.

Nightbird was a sweetheart at America’s Got Talent. Unfortunately, she passed away from cancer a year later. Therefore, the Mzansi choir singing It’s OK had people in their feelings.

The choir made the cover dedicating it to Nightbirde and to those battling cancer.

“Her inspiring philosophies, such as ‘you can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore before you decide to be happy’ and ‘don’t you want to see what happens if you don’t give up?’, have given us all a sense of hope in our own stories,” they wrote on Facebook.
