Nonhle Thema To Return To The Screen After Four Years Of Absence [Photos]

SA actress and media personality, Nonhle Thema is to return to the spotlight after she retired in 2016. She picks on acting as she will be featuring in Mzansi Magic’s telenovela Gomora.

She will be playing the role of Cleopatra Mofokeng, in the next episodes as announced by the channel. Cleopatra is a skillful, untrustworthy, and manipulative con-artist from Gauteng, who was born into poverty but grew to inherit the  RDP house she and her siblings lived in. 

This caused her and her siblings to fight amongst one another as they never understood why she inherited the house.

She has been referred to as the ‘It Girl’ in entertainment industry. Her shine began to dissolve as she slowly ‘disappeared’ and wasn’t involved in any major gigs. Noticing her irrelevance and lack of stardom, Nonhle retired within the year 2016 and moved onto another career inland. 

However in 2018 she re-appeared as a guest presenter in SABC 3’s talk shows Trending SA and now she is her to shine.
