Moja Love has faced a tumultuous year, grappling with scandals involving presenters and shows. Notably, Jub Jub awaits trial for sexual assault charges, and Xolani Khumalo faces murder charges stemming from a drug-related incident on his show.

The channel’s handling of these affairs, particularly under the now-fired ex-head of channel, Bokani Moyo, has drawn criticism.

Refilwe Modiselle expressed her satisfaction at Moyo’s departure through a passionate series of posts, terming it “karma.” On her social media page, she shared, “I’m glad karma never forgets what one did even years later & she got what was coming to her that was long overdue.”

Modiselle revealed the challenges she faced under Moyo’s management, stating, “To say the least, this woman tried to make my life hell when she was my producer on two shows. I will never forget the tears I cried. God avenges.”

Modiselle emphasized the lengths Moyo went to hinder her progress, recounting an instance when Moyo attempted to obstruct her opportunity to transition from “Ekse Let’s Talk” to work on “Hush” as the lead presenter. In her words, “When someone tries to be a gatekeeper of your progress & blessings… you best believe God sees the intention & will not let it go… at some point you, the do-er, will answer to the bad things you did to people unnecessarily.” The revelations from Modiselle shed light on the internal challenges within Moja Love, prompting further discussions on social media.
