Sometimes last year, the songstress  shared that she is in love with a woman. Although she  expected backlash for coming out as bisexual, to her surprise, she received lots of love and support from her fans.

The Bamako hit maker shared the news and revealed how excited she is about today with a cute video of their intimate moments and her followers showed love to the lovebirds.

Simphiwe captioned her post: “Today is our one year anniversary. Everyday I’m thankful that we found each other.”

In the video, Simphiwe sang her rendition of Tracy Chapman’s song The Promise.
