South African Celebrities are coming up to advise fellow citizens that the Coronavirus is actually real and not Fable as it is taking a toll on them directly or a member of their family.
Singer and Songwriter, Simphiwe Dana is not an exception as she openly shares on twitter that her mother, a retired nurse, tested positive for Coronavirus.
The singer shares that her mother is also diabetic and has been responding well and is getting better at home and knows she’ll get better, she tweeted “My mom has b been diagnosed with the coronavirus, she is a retired nurse who went back to work for an old age home because nursing to her is a calling, She is recovering at home and seems to be ok. She has diabetes. I have faith she will pull through.”
The singer also shares that she wishes we would take this seriously and not endanger ourselves and lived one’s. In her words she said “Now that we are starting to see Covid deaths of our close friends and families, I beg you to stop throwing the term herd immunity around. You are risking people’s lives. It is irresponsible.”
