Veteran singer Simphiwe Dana has opened up about her struggles with depression and anxiety amid the tragic death of AKA’s fiancée Anele ‘Nelli’ Tembe.

Many tweeps have been voicing out their struggles with mental health after the tragic passing of Aka’s fiancee, Anele ‘Nelli’ Tembe.According to close sources, Anele struggled with depression and anxiety issues amid countless rumours her fiancé AKA was allegedly cheating on her.

Taking to her Twitter account, Simphiwe Dana shared her struggles with her mental health and revealed she has failed to take medications for it for fear it might have an impact on her creative abilities.

“Thank you for sharing. I am Simphiwe Dana and I suffer from depression and anxiety. I don’t take meds for the depression as I fear it will affect my creativity. I do take stress am for the anxiety,” she wrote.
