Smoke & Mirrors Full Story, Plot Summary, Episodes, Casts, Teasers: A new South African soapie called “Smoke & Mirrors” will debut on e.tv on April 17, 2023, at 9:00 p.m. right after “Imbewu” ends.

The show’s story is about Thandiswa, who’s determined to reveal the bad actions of three shady guys in the little mining town of Emnyameni.

Thandiswa lives in a small mining town called Emnyameni. During the day, she works as a hairdresser, but at night, she works as an escort. Thandiswa has a mission to expose three bad men: Caesar, Mthetho, and Jaxon. They are known as The Unholy Trinity.

Caesar is the mastermind of this group. He is a powerful businessman who is also willing to do dirty things to get what he wants. Mthatho is the town’s police commissioner, but he leads a double life that will eventually catch up with him. The third member, Jaxon, is the flashy mayor of the town, but he spends money recklessly.

Thandiswa is not only an escort and a hairdresser, but she’s also a mother to her smart teenage son, Mpendulo Mseleku. Ayanda Bandla as Thandiswa Mseleku

Actress Ayanda Bandla plays the role of Thandiswa, the main female character in the show Smoke & Mirrors. She earned her BA in Political Sciences with a focus on International Relations from the University of Pretoria.

You might also recognize her from her role as Lakhe Amon in uBettina Wethu, as well as her appearances in other shows such as Vutha, Single Galz, Nqobile, Lavish, and Identity.

Zolisa Xaluva as Caesar

The veteran actor Zoliza Xaluva plays the character Caesar in Smoke & Mirrors. Caesar is the main bad guy in the show and the leader of The Unholy Trinity.

Siya Raymond is a South African actor and musician. He started acting on SABC2’s Muvhango in 2020, where he played the role of Sechaba. He also starred as Njabulo in The River.
