Against all odds, these female celebrities are still able to stand tall holding firm to their sources of income other than what the entertainment industry provides them.

  1. DJ Zinhle who is a disc jockey and musician. She has a jewelry brand named Era. It was launched in February 2013 and has also established a furniture brand this year, named Jiyane Atelier. The mother to Kairo, went broke when the pandemic struck the country where artist were not a platform but she was able to fight her way through.

2. Minnie Dlamini married to Quinton Jones, she is a broadcaster and has a skin care brand named which is named after her, MD.

3. Zodwa Wabantu who is a dancer. Going into business, she created for herself a brand which deals in perfume, lip-stick and petroleum jelly.

4. Pearl Thusi is an international actress who has launched a hair care product and currently in partnership with international make-u company, MAC. She is a loving mom to daughters Thando and Okuhle

5. Bonang Matheba one of the media personalities, launched House of BNG in 2019, and the wine from the brand is one of the best in SA.
