Nandi Madida Signed To Sony Music… To Release ORGANIC Under New Record Label [Video]

SA singer, Nandi Madida shares the exciting news of her being officially signed to one of the biggest record label in the world, Sony Music.

The singer who will be releasing Organic as her first single under the record label, said the song will be based on Sara Baartman.

“My new single ORGANIC is dedicated to the late Sara Baartman who was born in South Africa. We see her body being appropriated in mainstream media, but she was never celebrated but rather tortured and abused for her African curves that you see so many emulating today. OUR ANCESTOR went through so much.”

The song will be dropping on Friday, 18 September. It is being worked on by the singer and her family. Her husband, Zakes Bantwini and her son, Shaka. This is to end rumors of their dissolved marriage as they still live happily together as family.

In an interview with Slikour, shared on instagram, she has discussed the extent of her partnership with Sony Music. She explained that just like her song, she wanted everything to run organically.
